Well so far I have been out fishing about a dozen times this year each time catching smaller trout. Although it seams every time I go out to a fishing hole someone is there with pictures of huge trout they caught the day before. I listen to where they say they have been catching them and figure hey I know where that is I will go and catch some of them big ones and yet overtime all I catch is small to medium sized trout nothing of any real size. I love fishing though and it doesn't actually matter to me if I catch anything at all. The only reason I have been keeping any of them this year that I catch is because my wife and I are experimenting with smoking. We bought a small lil chief smoker last year at a yard sell and decided to put it to good use this year. So far we have found a brine that is pretty good but we are trying to make it better (at least to our taste). I guess now since I have made this post I will have to start taking my camera with me when I go fishing so I can post some pics for everyone to enjoy.
