So I have been reading several articles on using red fox pee instead of coyote pee at your canine sets. As I understand from the articles it is due to the fact that coyote pee will scare off red and grey fox, grey fox will scare off red fox, but red fox will attract all three. Any input on this concept?

Why, here is my 1 1/2 cents, LOL
When i was dealing with Distemper going around here really bad case of it a few years back, I did not have to pick up one dead red fox, But i disposed of 50+ greys.
Reds where not scavenging other sick animals like the greys were.
As for the coyote, much higher on the food chain and dominance order.
