Went out with a new trapper today to teach him some tricks. He was more then impressed, time will tell. He called me 15 minutes after I left him to say he just watched a beaver swim into the 330 body grip trap he set 2 minutes ago. He said I was gooood!!! Dave

Nice work. I use to work for Major Boddicker and he was who taught me how to set for beavers and his sets would do the same. He would start laughing when I would be making sets and I would ask what's so funny, he would just say let's see in the morning then tell me what I was doing different when we would go check. His were always full and I might catch one. It's always fun when you get to take someone out and show them the ropes.

Wow that is awesome. I think some of the best advice I got last year (my first) was first hand by some trappers I ran into on the line.

This guy had taken the trapping course, but he said that they did not show him any of this stuff. I opened up his eyes to a hole new world from the animals view that he did not think about before. This will make him a better trapper real fast. Know where they are going to go and why makes a much higher % catch rate. It all depends on he critter your after. Dave
